Teacher's CV - School Websites for Recruitment

Most schools don’t realise just how powerful their website can be for staff recruitment. Instead of relying solely on job boards and agencies, your school website is the perfect platform to attract new staff, giving them a real sense of your culture, values, and what it’s like to work there. In this post, we’ll explore how you can use your school website as a recruitment tool and how School Jotter integrates effortlessly with MyNewTerm to streamline the entire process.

Why Your Website Should Be Your First Step

When potential staff look for new roles, they’re not just after a job—they’re after a community, a place they’ll want to work every day. Your school website is the first window they look through, so why not use it to showcase what makes your school special? Include testimonials from current staff, photos of school events, and highlight your school’s unique approach to education. The more you reflect your culture, the more appealing your school will be to like-minded professionals.

It’s not just about listing jobs, either. Use your website to explain why working at your school is different from the rest. Focus on your values, your commitment to staff development, and any standout benefits your school offers. It’s this kind of detail that makes people stop and think, “I’d love to work there.”
