Here at Webanywhere we’ve had a busy few months, packed full of events. The season kicked off with Getting I.T Right in Hull at the end of April. Since then we’ve attended over 16 others, including COBIS, E2BN, Imoot, as well as hosting our own Nurturing Online Learning series.
The events have allowed us to cover topics such as:
-
School website checklists, making sure that schools keep in line with Ofsted and DfE requirements
-
Pupil Premium, helping schools decide how to make best use of their Pupil Premium funding using e-learning
-
e-Learning solutions for international schools
-
Leadership in the 21st Century, looking at how HR will go about identifying and developing leaders who will excel in their field
With schools winding down we only have a few events left before the end of the school year. On Saturday 29th June, we’ll be at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, London, for the Free Schools Live event. This is an annual conference and exhibition which brings together individuals and groups working with free schools. If you’re attending you can find us on stand 29.
Alternatively, if you’re in the Wigan area, why not pop along to our free Nurturing Online Learning event which will be taking place at Byrchill High School on Tuesday 2nd July 2013. We will be providing a full day of essential e-learning advice and information. The day will be split into two sessions, The morning will cover learning platforms, and how they can be integrated into everyday teaching. The afternoon will be an overview of Ofsted requirements for school websites, and how you can easily update and create content for your school website with School Jotter. All schools are invited to attend either, or both of these sessions. For more information email: marketing@webanywhere.co.uk.
