It’s been a while since we updated you on the new School Jotter Apps we’ve been working on. To jog your memory, School Jotter became integrated with a range of e-learning apps earlier this year that can be activated from your School Jotter dashboard.
This week, we’re pleased to introduce you to our new Broadcast App – a school communication tool that allows you to connect with parents through their phone or email.
We know that getting news, reminders and notices to parents can be time consuming and problematic. Notes go missing, letters sit in the bottom of schoolbags and telephone calls go unanswered.
Broadcast is the one app solution to this problem, allowing your school to send information electronically via text message and/or email without installing complex software.
It allows you to send a message to all parents in minutes, with a confirmation report confirming exactly who has received your message and who hasn’t.
Parents can also reply to messages, with Broadcast recording the full conversation history, allowing a two-way dialogue between your school and home.
We’re pretty excited about the potential of Broadcast and extra features such as SIMS integration will make the app extremely user friendly by allowing you to import pupil and parent contact information directly from your MIS system.
